What better way to honor our Earth Mother on Mother's Day!
Being A Lazy Witch This Weekend!

Free and Magickal Graphics by MyspaceMagick.com
Well I am feeling a bit like this cat looks, lazy and mischievious! The past few weeks have been very busy, but filled with fun as I was on vacation! During the time I helped my oldest daughter throw a Fairy Party for my one granddaughter and we had a great time with our friends who were visiting us from the UK. They arrived on 10/19 and were with us until 10/28. We traveled about on numerous day trips, discovered some great Pagan shops I didn't know were around in nearby towns, did some ghost hunting and just enjoyed some witchy time together. We had our Samhain meal on Full Moon so we could celebrate together. It was a wonderful visit that like always, went all too fast. It is so hard when your closest friends are an ocean away!
Hubby and our youngest daughter helped me spruce up my gardens for Samhain and harvest the last of my herbs. This little shrine to Cernunnos-Herne the Hunter was added to my fairy garden during our spruce up. They asked me what the neighbors might think of this. Told them if it meant anything to them other than a deer in a garden, then they may be like me!
I worked Monday, Tuesday and Friday this week, but had Samhain and Thursday off. On Samhain, hubby and I dressed up to greet our Trick or Treaters. As darkness fell I lit the candles around my garden, deck and in the front yard to guide my family "home" as I invited them to join us. I left the candles burn through the night. (yeah, the neighbors might think that a bit odd!) After hubby and our daughter were in bed, I started my ritual around 11. I call my dining room my ancestor shrine as the walls are covered with their photos and the room filled with family treasures. I had such peace as I sat and talked with them. I had gathered dirt from the graves of my parents, grandparents and great grandparents and used this in my ritual. After my ritual I went out on the deck for a bit and just enjoyed the clear, crisp night and the stars gracing the sky.
So for this weekend, I am going to just do a few things about the house and maybe work in my craft room. Next week it is back to a full week of work, how dull!
Enjoy the weekend my friends!
Brightest Blessings to all!
Been Tagged A Gazillion Times
"Each player starts with eight random facts/habits or embarrassing things about themselves. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog."
1. I hate mornings, my time to shine is about 11pm to 3am.
2. My patience level is a minus 10. Want it all, want it done.....YESTERDAY. However...Procrastination is one of my faults!
3. I have a wicked sense of humor and love to play practical jokes. Taught by the masters... my parents! We were trying to out do each other. I was an only child so I had to pick on them since I didn't have siblings!
4. I do not like clowns. Give me a good horror movie; zombies, ghoulies and ghosties, but don't send in the clowns!
5. I am addicted to carbs, hence the fact I am overweight. Could live on bread, pasta & potatoes.
6. I am proud of the skeletons in my family tree and love working on genealogy. I am mainly a mix of Irish, the British Isles, but throw in some German and Native American for good measure.
7. I am very claustrophobic.
8. I would love to retire next to the ocean and write.
Good Morning

A Bit Off These Days!
Thanks for the posts and messages checking in where I have been. We have been in non stop family and travel mode for 2 weeks and throw in a few days at the office on top of that, I am toasted.
This weekend looks like an event free one and I am planning to cocoon in my craft room and meditate and study. Feeling a bit burned out and have had very little crafting time for several weeks now.
I want to update a few things on my site as well as getting some of my pc files in order. I have saved so much stuff I planned to go back and read later and you know, I haven't! So I am looking forward to a QUIET weekend in seclusion to just do what I want to do.
Brightest Blessings to all!
