For all the women who celebrate this day as a mom, I send my best wishes to you.  For everyone, we celebrate our mother figures this day, those who are with us and those who have passed on. 

Well the wind isn't making it feel much like spring, but we did have a sunny day with bright blue skies. 

Wishing everyone a wonderful spring time season!  We are celebrating Ostara and Full Moon with the Coven on Friday night.  Then Saturday joining others for a larger celebration at Four Quarters.  I have lots of baking and cooking to do, but wanted to pop on here and say HI to my Covenspace friends and let you know I haven't forgotten you!

Just a quick blog to say hello and wish everyone here a day of love and happiness on Valentine's Day.  A Valentine can be your significant other, your kids, your friends, your family, etc.  Share a hug and some love with those who are special in your life!

I thought Snoopy was an appropriate greeting choice in honor of Uno, the first beagle ever to win Best of Show at Westminster!! (Plus I am a fan to the end of the Peanuts Gang!)  If Charles Schultz would have lived to see this I can only imagine the great comic strips that would follow this victory for the beagles! 

We have had nasty snow and ice and really cold temps.  It has gone rather unnoticed by me as I have been in the house since Sunday with the flu.  Wow, haven't slept this much in ages.  Must be getting in the last of my hibernation before spring!

Another year in this life has come to an end,
Time to reflect on what I must amend.
What lessons have I learned in this past year?
What memories of this year spent will I hold dear?
Ups and downs, joys and tears, sickness and health,
Love from family and friends my greatest wealth.

HOPE in the new year is what I am wishing for!
May we have money to get by, not asking for more,
As well as love, joy and good health to fill our days,

This past year has been filled with many changes and challenges.  I marked the half century point of my life, money and health have been major challenges, relationships have gone through the fires to be refined and strengthened and some ended.  A big change was that I moved from solitary to joining a coven which has proved such a blessing!  I have found a group of wonderful friends and teachers to walk the path with.  

Looking to the new year I am filled with hope that I will continue to grow as I study with this group as well as growing in my relationship with my husband.  This June will see our youngest graduate and then enter the military (something I am REALLY struggling with as a mom).  So we will begin a new chapter in our marriage, just us at home!  I am looking forward to that, but to enjoy that for a number of years to come we both must make a serious effort to improve our health!  We can't change the ailments that have come to our aging bodies, but we can improve on diet and exercise.  So that will be our BIG challenge to work on together.

To my dear friends here, I will you PEACE, JOY & GOOD HEALTH for 2008.  May the power of the elements fill you with all you need!
