Well the wind isn't making it feel much like spring, but we did have a sunny day with bright blue skies. 

Wishing everyone a wonderful spring time season!  We are celebrating Ostara and Full Moon with the Coven on Friday night.  Then Saturday joining others for a larger celebration at Four Quarters.  I have lots of baking and cooking to do, but wanted to pop on here and say HI to my Covenspace friends and let you know I haven't forgotten you!

Those of us of a certain age, can remember watching the clock at the end of the school day and when that final bell rang, racing home to watch DARK SHADOWS.  I was very lucky to have a girlfriend who lived only about 6 blocks from the school so it was a daily ritual for us to watch this at her house.  The acting was terrible, effects poor, but for some reason we watched and were scared at times!  LOL

I was looking through pics I have on file on my pc and came across these images that I had scanned from my scrapbook some time ago.  I thought I would share them here, I had posted some DS related pics before and found there are a few fans here.  Enjoy.

I was looking through graphics and came upon this pretty one to send my friends, but it bothered me because it said "Best Friends".  I guess it is that leftover stigma of high school cattyness from that term that raises red flags.  The nasty "you aren't my best friend" taunts, etc.  But then I thought, okay, I am 50, get over it.

I realized, hey, being best friends should be something we strive for in ALL of our friendships and it doesn't mean you can only have one selelct friend!  I have all sorts of levels of friendships, my coven brothers and sisters are like my family and I have a deep love for them.  I see them often interact with them on a regular basis and have the opportunity to nurture these relationships.  I have many aquaintances that I enjoy spending time with.  Still learning to know some of these folks so I continue to cultivate those relationships.  And then my online friends, so many of you I have gotten to know well through posts and correspondence and I know if we were closeby, would be fast friends.  I treasure my online friends.

So my point to this rambling.... (I am getting stir crazy, been in the house sick since Sunday!  Humor me!  LOL)   BE THE BEST FRIEND YOU CAN BE TO EVERYONE! 

Just a quick blog to say hello and wish everyone here a day of love and happiness on Valentine's Day.  A Valentine can be your significant other, your kids, your friends, your family, etc.  Share a hug and some love with those who are special in your life!

I thought Snoopy was an appropriate greeting choice in honor of Uno, the first beagle ever to win Best of Show at Westminster!! (Plus I am a fan to the end of the Peanuts Gang!)  If Charles Schultz would have lived to see this I can only imagine the great comic strips that would follow this victory for the beagles! 

We have had nasty snow and ice and really cold temps.  It has gone rather unnoticed by me as I have been in the house since Sunday with the flu.  Wow, haven't slept this much in ages.  Must be getting in the last of my hibernation before spring!
